Villa Location

The rustic-chic Vivian Villa, among the olive groves and a variety of Mediterranean plants at the mountainous west side of Zakynthos, is located at Koiliomenos Village; only 20 minutes drive from Zakynthos airport and 20 minutes from Limni Keri resort. Vivian Villa is the ultimate holiday retreat! In Koiliomenos is the church of Agios Nikolaos located, famous because of its special bell tower. Another church in the village with a distinctive architecture is the church “Kyria ton Aggelon”, which literally means “the woman of Angels”. Koiliomenos is, also, famous for the local products by the agricultural cooperation from the local women; and their products are prepared and made with local ingredients and based on traditional recipes. At Koiliomenos you will find nice restaurants with local zakynthian cuisine, taverns, small cafés and a mini market for the daily products you might need while you enjoy your stay at this beautiful place with postcard views.

Local markets and shopping

Koiliomenos has a few mini markets for the daily essentials and few souvenir shops to browse. At Agios Sostis, which can be reached in 15 minutes by car, you will find plenty of souvenir and beachwear shops and places to eat.

Bars and restaurants

There is a good choice of traditional restaurants/ tavernas at Koiliomenos where you can enjoy lunch or main evening meal surrounding by nature. But if you wish to enjoy your meal under the stars and beside the beach, Agios Sostis is the best choice; where there are several more restaurants you a choice of different cuisines and plenty of relaxed cocktail bars next to the sea.

Beaches

Quite near, only 20 minutes drive, there is an amazing beach with dramatic stone cliffs which dissolve into crystal clear waters. For the risky one, where they can enjoy the ultimate experience by diving from these dramatic cliffs into the sea and for the less risky they can choose to swim from a small beach a few meters far from the cliffs. If you wish to spend your holiday on a sandy beach then Agios Sostis is the best choice, as the warm and shallow sea is perfect for families with young children. Also, at Agios Sostis, sunbeds and parasols are available and you can even hire a pedalo or join in with a sightseeing boat trip to catch a glimpse of the Caretta-Caretta Turtles swimming around the bay!

Family fun

There are plenty of fun family activities and attractions within a 20 minutes drive. Laganas and Kalamaki both have mini golf facilities. The Caretta Fun Park in Kalamaki is also great for smaller children. Sarakinado Water Village in Zante is sure to be a hit with children of all ages, or venture 45 minutes' drive north to St. Nikolaos' port where you can hire a boat to visit the Shipwreck and Blue Caves.

Places of interest

Koiliomenos village is 30 minutes by car from the island capital, Zante town, which is well seeing during your stay. The town has a wealth of shops and places to eat around the square and lining the harbor, or venture up the hill to the remain of the Venetian Castle at Bochali and enjoy the fantastic views over the east coast. Further north, around 35 minutes drive from Vivian Villa, is the beautiful little village of Volimes, which has various craft and gifts shops to browse. And no trip to Zante would be complete without visiting the famous Shipwreck Beach. The beach is only accessible by boat but there is a viewing platform overlooking the beach and wreck at the top of the cliff- don’t forget your camera!
